Brittany earned her Master’s Level Acupuncture Diploma From the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in July 2018 where she learned Chinese style acupuncture. She is licensed by the State of Ohio Medical Board and has been practicing acupuncture for 2 years. Through her apprenticeship with Brian Neill she has been learning Japanese style acupuncture which places a greater emphasis on pulse reading, body palpation, and “hara diagnosis” – a method for assessing the health of a person’s whole body, physically and energetically, through the abdomen. This is an advanced method unique to the Japanese style of acupuncture, training for which goes beyond what is commonly available.
Brittany earned her massage therapy license in December 2015 and her work as a massage therapist laid the foundation for her work as an acupuncturist. Having 5+ years of massage therapy experience, in addition to her training in both Chinese and Japanese style acupuncture, makes working with her a special treat!
